One of two, it emerges from the water behind the RSL clubrooms on the banks of the beautiful Seven Creeks.
Marvel at the magnificent old river red gum trees and reflect at the gun memorial and bronze statues of our three Victoria Cross recipients.
Head on up to the Post Office to see the smaller of the two platypus artworks, then on to Telegraph Park to honor the local men killed in the war.
For a day out, take a picnic lunch and visit Gooram Falls or Polly McQuinns Weir, or else take a long walk around town following the historic trail to view places of interest.
And for the proper rural experience, take in the renowned Violet Town Market on the second Saturday of each month or the Euroa Farmers Market on the third Saturday.
Come back in the evening for local dining at Euroa’s hotels or catch Binney Street’s festoon lighting while choosing a restaurant or wine bar.
