THE fun never stops in Mansfield and the surrounding district.

Whether you like water sports, mountain biking, hiking, picnics in the bush or parks or just relaxing by the pool – the High Country has something for you.

Over the Christmas and New Year holiday break the fun doesn't stop with country race meetings, mountain trails to either hike or bike, the Great Victorian Rail Trail to traverse, creeks and rivers to swim in – or do some fishing, four wheel drives into the bush or meander the shops, drink at a pub or two, dine in one our fine restaurants or have a casual lunch in one of the many cafes – it is up to you.

Out of town there is the Delatite Winery to taste the fruits of the vineyard, take a picnic among the vines or dine in the modern restaurant.

Out at Gough's Bay there is the High Country Gardens, Gallery and Maze to explore.

For those who really like to adventure consider a hot air balloon ride – either early morning or late afternoon (weather permitting for both).

For sporting enthusiasts there is always a round of golf or two, join bowlers for social bowls at the local club, watch a game of cricket at one of the town's cricket club reserves, take in a round of mini golf for the younger set – these are always fun – there is so much more to do in and around Mansfield.

And if you are here for the duration of the school holidays then stick around for the Australia Day celebrations – music, food and yes, more fun.
