Festival co-director excited for event’s 30th anniversary

BOSS BASSIST: Zoe Hauptmann, one of Australia’s most in demand bass players, and co-artistic director of the Wangaratta Jazz and Blues Festival, is excited for the event this year.

ORGANISERS have officially launched the first virtual Wangaratta Festival of Jazz and Blues this week.

Bassist Zoe Hauptmann said she is very excited about the 30th festival and was glad it is going ahead.

She spoke to the Wangaratta Chronicle about her career in music and why she appreciates rural venues.
