Mt Stirling
For a true alpine and snow experience without the crowds, Mt Stirling is your ideal Victorian destination. Situated in the alpine region near Mt Buller, this unspoilt and largely undeveloped area is ideal for cross country skiing, school groups, families and snowshoeing adventures to enjoy the snow wilderness.
In winter enjoy cross country ski lessons with Stirling Experience, who can provide all the required gear via their hire shop plus snow shoeing guiding.
In summer the area can be enjoyed with horse riding, hiking on the numerous alpine trails and witnessing the stunning wildflowers. Both seasons are ideal for alpine camping, including permanent tent sites
